Who's Walking and who is following?

Daily thought... are you conducting the walk? Or are you along for the ride?

The outcome of the dog walk can be 100% the choice (and responsibility) of the human! We humans have the choice and the ability to proactively direct our dogs’ state of mind and leash manners on the walk or simply hang on to that leash handle and go along for the ride. And depending on which option we chose, we can either choose to have a great walk... or hope to have a great walk. It’s the difference between being proactive and reactive, taking charge of the outcome or allowing an unknown outcome to happen to you. I’ve been on both sides, and believe me, things go soooo much better when a human is in the drivers seat and the dog goes along for the ride
