Jump! Jump!

Jumping is a super common result of over excitement, a lack of impulse control, and not enough respect for the personal space of others and sooooo many dogs love to indulge this naughty habit when they meet new people, reunite with their families after work/school or when at play. However, a dog can learn how to enjoy all of these events (and more!!!!) while also keeping his paws on the floor and off people... BUT it’s up to the handler to teach the dog and enforce impulse control because dogs certainly won’t do this all on their own... naughty jumping is just more fun!

It’s up to the handler to make sure that the dog is practicing calm and polite manners and not over excitement.

It’s up to the handler to set firm boundaries on their own personal space and correct the dog for entering it uninvited by jumping. 😉
