TIMID DOGS NEED TRAINING TOO!

Insecure dogs gain confidence and skills through the training process! Insecure dogs often look shy, timid and reactive and so often folks try to ‘befriend’ the timid dog and bribe him for trust rather than leading him. Trust is earned through consistent leadership, not bribed with treats, freedom, and affection. Our dogs need our leadership above all else which means correcting them when they’re naughty, teaching them how to behave politely, guiding them into good choices and always advocating for them and through this process we always build confidence, great skills and habits and trust.
